(Atlanta, Georgia) The city of Atlanta is in fete mode now that the Atlanta Caribbean Children’s Carnival has officially kicked off the 2013 season. With stiltwalkers as young as four years and masqueraders as young as four months, this event was truly one for the books.
This year’s grand marshals, The Sh’Boss Boys, got things started by meeting, greeting and posing with each band before parading around Salem Park. Then of course came the moment the crowd was waiting for – the march of and presentation of bands. Winners were announced at the end of the day and Caribbean pride was evident!
