(Atlanta, Georgia) In commemoration of The Bahamas’ 40th year of Independence and 25 years of Carnival in Atlanta, Georgia, the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Bandleaders Association has invited top model and reigning Miss Universe Bahamas Celeste Marshall to be a Grand Marshall in this year’s parade.
Marshall was featured at the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival press conference held at the Westin Hotel in Downtown, Atlanta delivering a special prerecorded message to attendees.
“I am very excited to be taking part in this year’s Atlanta Caribbean Carnival,” gushed Marshall. “I am also honored to be a Grand Marshall in this year’s parade. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to join our Caribbean brothers and sisters, while at the same time representing my home nation, The Bahamas. I am looking forward to my time in Georgia.”
Marshall will be having a meet and greet at Bar One, owned by Peter Bailey, husband of model Cynthia Bailey, also of Real Housewives of Atlanta, take part in a fashion show and tour the city of Atlanta. #FollowTheCrown fans will be delighted to know that she will also have a media team and film crew along with her.
